Gardening Realities

“WAKE UP TO THE WAYS WE HABITUALLY IGNORE THAT WHICH IS REAL; NOT TO SAY THAT OUR REALITY IS TOTALLY & WHOLLY TRUTHFUL. NO CONSTRUCTION IS. BUT WE CAN WAKE UP – FIND AWARENESS AMONGST IT…

Dig your hands in the earth deeply, and remember to ask questions because these parts of our connections are far-away – nearly forgotten. The realness I speak of is that which is true without us. Not science or religion, but seasons and weathers. Less about the molecules and more about the message.

It is thunder that is real; the indication of a storm. It is not the sound of clouds coming back together after lightening has separated the water – although that is beautiful truth. We look for the time elapsed between that separation and it’s reunion to tells us how far away the recklessness is. That is real.

It is the soil that is real; the indication of life. Not in the organisms that compost and nourish in the cycle of life – although that is a beautiful truth. We look for the time it takes for bones to morph into branches to tell us how patient we must be. That is real.

Wake up.”
