Adrian Raymer’s photography is like entering a dream world. With soft colours, focuses, and sometimes eerie imagery it’s easy to feel like you’re viewing snaps of a world that we don’t experience when awake. Often using natural materials and herself/friends as muses there is a unique sense of self and surroundings that’s captured in her photos. Her outlooks feel idealistic and romantic, and they capture adolescence and the fleeting permanence of the things that make up our worlds. Her photos give a very literal meaning to the phrase “to see the world through rose-coloured glasses”.
